PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

Board Member Felixberto Carillo Bolando is fondly called by his peers and colleagues simply as ‘Dodong’. Born on June 22, 1965 in the municipality of Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte, he is now by profession a Practicing Lawyer and presently resides in Barangay Fatima of the town of Liloy.

Dodong passed the Civil Service Professional Examination in the year 1990 with a rating of 81%. Later then, in the year 1995, he cleared the Bar Examination with a passing rate of 79% in the year 1995.

Board Member Bolando’s educational history involves being an elementary graduate of the Causwagan Elementary School as well as a graduate of the secondary education at the Lisun Institute. He took his College degree at the Andres Bonifacio College with the degree in Civil Engineering and proceeded to take Law as well.

As a cunning democrat and sophisticated intuition, Dodong rose up from the ranks from being a mere Sangguniang Bayan (SB) member in the local government of Liloy in 1985 to 1990. He then carried on and took a job offer as a Legal Assistant of the Provincial Attorney’s Office in the year 1994 to 1995. He came back to run for office as a SB member and served his term from 1998 to 2001. During the recently concluded May 11, 2004 elections in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, he was re-elected as Board Member of the 3^rd Congressional District of the province.

Dodong’s other affiliations include being the past Regional Chairman and Treasurer of the Provincial Board Members League of the Philippines, Zamboanga del Norte Chapter as well as being the member of the  Philippine Jaycees.

Board Member Bolando is happily married to a Dipolognon, Lilibeth P. Bolando and blessed with 2 children namely; Kay Marie and Kathleen May.
