PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

BOARD MEMBER BEDA BONGA GALLEMIT HAMOY is one of two (2) elected representatives for the of the 1^st Congressional District of the great Province of Zamboanga del Norte.

Born in the Shrine City of Dapitan on May 27, 1951, this politician is now happily married and resides in Poblacion Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte. Graduated on October of 1973 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in the world-renowned Siliman University.

His outstanding track record in the world of public service and politics includes an 11 year service as Vice Mayor (March 1980 – September 1991), as well as 10 years as Mayor (September 1991 – June 2001) of the municipality of Piñan.

As of the present, being a re-elected Board Member earned him a seat as chairman of the following committees:

            ·        Committee on Local Government and Community Development
