PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

BOARD MEMBER ARASAM A. ISMAEL was born on January 15, 1957 at Catuyan, Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte as the 2^nd child of ISMAEL D.K. WAHID and MEHELAN ABANG AMIL. His parents fondly calls him “SAM”, they are four (4) in the family. At the age of 22 he submitted himself to be the lifetime partner of MS. ALINDA BASA, year 1979. After 5 years in marriage they are blessed by ALLAH with a baby girl, the only child was born on July 14, 1984 and they named her RUSAIDA. They belong to a KALIBUGAN Tribe in the Islamic Religion.

In the year 1994, ARASAM won as Barangay Captain of Barangay Catuyan, Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte. He was elected Municipal Liga President/Ex-Officio Member of the Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality of Sirawai, this province on May 1997 up to October 27, 2002 and was elected Provincial Liga ng mga Barangay President on October 28, 2002. At present, he is an Ex-Officio Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan representing the Liga ng mga Barangay. Arasam is presently the Chairman of the Committee on Muslim Affairs, Committee on Economic Affairs, Committee on Social Welfare and Community Development and a Member of the Committee on Police Peace and Order and Committee on Labor and Employment of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte, Legislative Building, Dipolog City.
